Amplified Arts is excited to announce our first Summer Trunk Theatre Camp! Producing artistic director and award-winning youth theatre director Shelly Hudson along with early career artists from Amplified Arts Academy training program lead these lively day classes for young people ages 7 – 12. Using the Sanford Meisner Technique which is based on the criteria that “Acting is living as truthfully as one can under an imaginary circumstance”, young actors are allowed to be who they are with no pretending or pretense.
- The two-week camp culminates with a performance for friends and family starting at 5:30 PM in Amplified Arts flexible performance space on our final day.
- Ages: 7-11 Fee $150 per actor (for entire theatre 3-week camp session – Due no later than July 1st)
- Dates; July 8th – July 24th
- Morning and afternoon snack provided.
- Campers bring lunch and refillable water bottle. Comfortable shoes and clothes required.
- All campers are required to attend all days of the camp to ensure the best quality performance as possible.
Be aware, any behavioral issues will result in removal from the program and theatre production.
The performance will be open to friends and families only and not for the general public.
